WHO WE ARE

Star Lake Elementary, home of the Eagles, is located in Federal Way’s Star Lake neighborhood, and serves scholars in grades PK-5. Our mission is that in an environment of high expectations, high support, and no excuses, the staff of Star Lake Elementary School will continually learn, lead, utilize data, and collaborate to ensure our scholars have a voice, a dream, and a bright future. We strive to be KIND, SAFE and PRODUCTIVE and help students be successful with this by explicitly teaching behavior expectations for all areas in the school, by creating social contracts within our classrooms, and by rewarding students demonstrating positive behavior choices.Scholars also benefit from an array of school activities and clubs to enhance their learning.
