School Improvement Plan

SMARTIE Goal #1 (MATH)

By June 2026, at least 60% of all 3rd-5th grade students will meet or exceed proficiency on the SBA Math Claim 1 (Concepts and Procedures). This will include reaching proficiency targets of at least 45% for Multilingual students and 30% for Students with IEPs.

SMARTIE Goal #2 (ELA)

  • K-2: By June 2026, at least 70% of K-2 students will meet proficiency targets on the following measures. 
  • 3-5: By June 2026, at least 70% of all 3rd-5th grade students will meet or exceed the SBA ELA proficiency standard. This will include reaching proficiency targets of at least 45% for Multilingual students and 30% for Students with IEPs.   

SMARTIE Goal #3 (Whole Child)

Attendance:  

By June 2026, we will increase the K-5 regular attendance rate (students attending >90% of school days) from 70% to at least 80%. focus on increasing the regular attendance rate for:  

  • Pacific Islander students: from 50% to at least 65%  
  • Students with Disabilities (SWD): from 54% to at least 65%  

PBIS: 

By June 2026, reduce discipline disproportionality measured by:  

  • Racial Equity: Decrease the discipline referral risk ratio for Black and Multiracial students from over 2.0 to less than 1.0.  
  • Ability Equity: Reduce the overall discipline rate for Students with Disabilities (SWD) from 4.3% to 1.0%.  
  • Gender Equity: Lower the proportion of all office referrals for boys from 89% to 50% or less.
