💙 A New Approach to Fundraising This Year -

You may notice one big change this year: we will not be doing the traditional Big Fall Fundraiser.

After speaking with many Star Lake families, your feedback helped us understand that the previous fundraiser was not something many families enjoyed. We also learned that more than 50% of the money our families worked hard to raise went to the fundraising company rather than staying with our school.

This year, we are taking a different approach. Instead of one large fundraiser, the PTA will offer several smaller, more family-friendly fundraising opportunities throughout the year. Our goal is to make fundraising easier and more enjoyable while keeping more of the money we raise right here at Star Lake.

Because we are moving away from the large Fall Fundraiser, you may notice a small increase in the price of some PTA activities or items this year. We will work hard to keep any increases as small as possible while continuing to support our students, staff, programs, and events.

We appreciate all of our Star Lake families and look forward to a great year together! 💙
